3D Character, 52 Facial expression development, Face-tracking integration, Tutoring

Our company had the opportunity to work with The Hero In You Foundation, a California non-profit organization helping and educating children on socio-emotional, health, and safety subjects. They were looking for a new way to engage students and improve their learning outcomes, and they came to us for help. The teachers were interested in creating an Avatar Teacher, which would be projected in class and controlled remotely by a teacher using a face-tracking application. The idea was to use technology to enhance the learning experience and create a more interactive and engaging classroom environment.

Portrait of a 3D fantasy dog with red fur and brown spots, holding a sign featuring Disney characters. The dog's expression is one of surprise, with raised eyebrows and a cute, endearing look. The use of 3D modeling brings the character to life, highlighting the intricate details of the dog's fur and facial features. The sign featuring Disney characters adds to the sense of playfulness and whimsy in the image. Overall, the portrait captures the essence of this charming and delightful character, inviting viewers to appreciate its unique beauty and personality. The 3D model is made by Pigiama Kasama Studio

Since its launch, Rocket has been a huge success in Los Angeles schools. Teachers have reported that students are more engaged and motivated in class, and that the Avatar has helped to create a more dynamic and interactive learning environment.

Overall, our work with Los Angeles school teachers to create Rocket, the first World Avatar Teacher, has been a great example of how technology can be used to enhance the learning experience and create more engaging and effective classrooms. We are proud to have been a part of this innovative project and look forward to continuing to work with educators to bring new ideas and technologies to the classroom.

We worked closely with the organization’s teachers to develop Rocket, the first world Avatar Teacher. The project involved designing and building a 3D digital character that could be projected in the classroom: this allowed a remote teacher to control the Avatar's facial and body movements and interact real-time with students.
The Avatar was designed to be flexible and adaptable, so that it could be used in a wide range of classroom settings and with different language groups.
