Brief

BMW Motorrad MetaRide stands for a digital brand space of virtual reality in which motorcycle fans can ride and experience the CE 02 in the form of an avatar, just like in real life. It also serves as a platform where fans and the BMW Motorrad brand can meet.

 

Besides being able to go on virtual test rides with the BMW CE 02, you can also play basketball, collect tokens or earn a stylish jacket for your own avatar. The virtual digital brand space will also be gradually expanded for other products in the future.

PIGIAMA KASAMA assisted the team of the Metaverse Architect, Kuba Jekiel (HYPERLIVING), BMW Motorrad, Lobeco GmbH, Spatial.io, and Ready Player Me, in creating this immersive digital experience.

Result 1 - 3D Motorbike for Spatial.io

One of the key achievements of this digital experience is motorbike 3D optimization. PIGIAMA KASAMA worked closely with Spatial.io to optimize the complex industry file of the motorbike, which was filled with high-polygon details.

 

Through their expertise, we created an optimized asset that weighs only 2 MB while maintaining a remarkably high level of quality. This optimized asset allows users to experience the motorbike in incredible detail and realism within the metaverse environment.

 

Additionally, PK utilized these optimized assets to create stunning renders for promotional materials, further enhancing the visual appeal of the motorbike and attracting more interest from enthusiasts and potential buyers.

Result 2 - Digital Fashion for Ready Player Me avatar

In addition, PIGIAMA KASAMA co-designed and developed the Ready Player Me clothing for the Metaverse's avatars. This clothing is not just a digital asset, but also a reward that users can earn upon completing a fun game inside the BMW Motorrad metaverse. Once earned, users can keep the clothing and use it across different metaverses, enhancing their digital persona.

 

This innovative approach not only engages users in a fun and interactive way but also allows the brand to reach a wider audience across various digital platforms.

Result 3 - Promotional Material

PIGIAMA KASAMA made renders to showcase the BMW CE 02. These renders were created using the latest 3D modeling software and were designed to highlight the key features of the motorbike. The new BMW CE 02 represents a new way of accessing the world of BMW Motorrad, because it is electric, appeals in particular to young people and is neither an e-motorcycle nor an e-scooter - it is an eParkourer.

 

The renders helped to provide a visual representation of the innovative design, which was crucial for the client's marketing and promotional activities.
