Brief

Pigiama Kasama has recently developed a new application called the Space Meal App that showcases the Engineered Space Kitchen by PastificioRana and Coesia. This app has been specifically designed for astronauts to help them prepare sustainable and fast meals for their daily work on the Mars module. The app is user-friendly and enables astronauts to create meals with ease. PIGIAMA KASAMA has worked tirelessly to create an application that is both efficient and aesthetically pleasing.

The Engineered Space Kitchen (E.S.K.), with Chief Designer Valentina Sumini, has been included in the ADI Design Index 2022 and pre-selected for the Compasso d'Oro 2024, the world's most prestigious design award.

Result 2 - UX / UI and Sound Design

PIGIAMA KASAMA worked closely with Coesia and Giovanni Rana to understand their requirements and create an application that meets the needs of astronauts. The UX and UI design was developed to ensure that the app is intuitive and easy to use, with clear instructions for meal preparation. The sound design was also carefully crafted to create a unique atmosphere that complements the space theme of the application. This attention to detail in the development of UX, UI design, and sound design has resulted in an application that is user-friendly and engaging.

Result 1 - Application

The Space Meal App was created using Unity, a cross-platform game engine that is perfect for creating interactive applications. The user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design were given great importance, ensuring that the app is easy to navigate and has a modern design. Additionally, the sound design was crafted to create a unique atmosphere that complements the space theme of the application.

Result 3 - Promotional Material

In addition to the app development, PIGIAMA KASAMA also made renders to showcase the Engineered Space Kitchen by Coesia and Giovanni Rana. These renders were created using the latest 3D modeling software and were designed to highlight the key features of the kitchen. The renders helped to provide a visual representation of the kitchen's design, which was crucial for the client's marketing and promotional activities.

Result 4 - Video Production

Finally, PIGIAMA KASAMA also created a video production to showcase the devices in the kitchen. The video production highlighted the various devices used in meal preparation and demonstrated how the Space Meal App integrates with these devices. The video production was designed to be informative and engaging, with clear instructions on how to use the app and devices. This video has been widely shared on social media and has helped to promote the Space Meal App and the Engineered Space Kitchen by Coesia and Giovanni Rana.
